Angela holds a Master's degree in Counseling from Northwest Christian College, and has served as an instructor of college courses. She completed her internship at Umpqua Community College, specializing in career counseling and academic advising.  In her spare time, she enjoys music, travel, outdoor recreation, college sports, and quilting.  Angela brings the Board strong organizational skills and a passion for personal and professional development.

Carrie Coplan spent most of her life in the Midwest, where she completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois, and a master’s degree in Counseling at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Since moving to Oregon in 2003, she has worked at both University of Oregon and Oregon State University providing personal, career, and crisis counseling. Currently, she is a career counselor and supervises both undergraduate and graduate students at OSU.  She is particularly interested in college student career development, as well as international careers and career development.  In her free time, she enjoys hiking, baking, and traveling, especially to locations where she can speak Spanish!

Dan Hayes has 30 years in workforce development and career planning.  He has a B.S. in Pre-med from Loyola University and a M.S. in Education from Western Oregon University with a focus in rehabilitation counseling.  Over the years he has been involved in workforce and community development.  He is currently a Counselor/Instructor with Chemeketa Community College and an online Instructor for Linn Benton Community College serving Lane Community College students.  Dan is passionate in facilitating students to attain meaningful lives and careers.  He promotes the development of purposeful life plans based on an objective understanding of personal strengths as they relate to researchable career trends.

Matt Morscheck is a Career Counselor working in Outplacement and Private Practice in downtown Portland. He is on the adjunct faculty at Clark College, where he teaches Career Exploration and Job Search courses. Matt holds a BA in Business Administration from Washington State University and an MS in Counselor Education from Portland State University. In addition to his counseling experience, Matt owns and operates a website design and electronic publishing company that specializes in websites for small business and individuals. A Northwest native, Matt enjoys music, staying physically active, waterskiing, and working on home improvement projects.

Miranda Smith is a native Oregonian and hails from a farming family.  She received a B.A. in English from Seattle Pacific University in 2002 and her Ed.M. in College Student Services Administration from Oregon State University in 2007.  She has worked in a variety of professions helping students discover their passions in life and transition through the college experience successfully; these have included university admissions and career development, as well as the instruction of university-level courses on career decision-making and academic success.  Miranda currently works in the College of Science at Oregon State University as an academic advisor and head of the College of Science Ambassador program, which connects OSU College of Science students with K-12 students to foster an interest in scientific study.  Her passions are cooking, gardening, reading, her husband and family, rural life, and learning new skills.

Janice is the ASVAB Career Exploration Program Manager for 285 schools in Oregon and Southwest Washington.  Beginning her educational career as a secondary history teacher in Ohio, Janice transitioned from the classroom to Federal service in 1985.   For the last 23 years, Janice has had the privilege of working with thousands of high school students facilitating their postsecondary educational and career plans.  With her passion for career development and the ASVAB, Janice conducts counselor training workshops, graduate counseling presentations, and interest sessions at statewide educator conferences.  Her commitment to the Oregon Career Development Association has spanned over two decades while including professional memberships in ASCA, OSCA, ACTE and OACTE.  Janice resides in Vancouver, Washington.

Jon Dickson's background is in educational administration and curriculum and instruction.  Upon his retirement from the military in 1998, he received his Master’s degree in Education at Chapman University at Orange, California.  He has extensive experience in leadership inside and outside of the education realm.  Jon’s background includes teaching at East Central University in Oklahoma and as an administrator for Rio Salado College in Tempe, Arizona where he also taught  courses in career transition.  Jon is an Education Services Specialist with the Portland Navy Recruiting District where he counsels high school students and active duty sailors in career development.
